It is recommended that you always wait for three to agree on a translation.
I speak Connemara Irish, and my input will often reflect that.
I will do an mp3 file on request for short translations.

It is funny, though, how sometimes English words just get thrown in there for no apparent reason.

I once saw an interview with Máire Ní Bhraonáin on TG4, conducted in Irish, of course, except for one little word. She never referred to the instrument she plays as "cláirseach" or "cruit"...she always said "harp." She even used English for "my" when speaking of it. It sounded really odd...things like "sheinn mé my harp ag an cheolchoirm."

S cosúil nach bhfuil M. Ní Bhraonáin gomh líofa le M. Ní Mhaonaigh mar shompla (níl mórán Gaeilge ag Leo Ó Braonáin, sin an fáth, b'fhéidir). B'fhéidir nach labhrann sí Gaeilg gomh minic sin níos mó fosta...

S dóigh liom go ndeirtear "clársach" i dTír Chonaill, nó 's minic a leathnaithear -rs- caol ansin (cf tursa in áit tuirse, srl...)

Cosúil leis an Ghaeilge na hAlbain...deirtear "clàrsach" san theanga sin.
