Is é Superman é = He is Superman (C & U).
In U at least, one can use "XYZ atá ann" with a definite or an indefinite predicate:
Superman atá ann = he is Superman & he is a Superman.
I also failed to realize that "It's Superman" should be treated as definite.
So, in Ulster at least, it would be
Is éan é. Is eitleán é. Superman atá ann!!!"To me, it sounds better if the first two aren't emphatic, but the last one is.
Would the above be a good translation?
