Hi.

I'm trying to find the exact translation of "Is lainn liom".

One link provided mentions it's translation as "It enraptures me"
https://www.academia.edu/35710700/Nach_ ... C3%A1lainn

On teaglann.ie, it translates to "excites/enraptures".
https://www.teanglann.ie/en/fgb/lainn

So which one is it? Is it even correct and if not, what does it translate to?
If possible, please provide some examples.

Secondly, I found the above phrase (Is lainn liom) while trying to translate "Is loinn liom".
I found one source saying it translates to "I like". However, it is possible there exists a link between "Is lainn liom" and "Is loinn liom"

Does anyone know if this is the case? If not, what does "Is loinn liom" translate to? Some examples to help understand would be great too!

Thanks to anyone in advance!

Both: Is lainn liom é = It excites me, it enraptures me

I wouldn't dare to doubt the correctness of Ó Dónaill’s dictionary, except for typoes.

It is the same word, just different spelling.
And, as https://www.teanglann.ie/en/fgb/loinn suggests, lainn is the better one.
