I would really be thankful if someone translated to Standard Irish and/or Old Spelling this prayer, so I could engrave it to my chest

May they be true [faithful], the hearts that love me
or, if you use the version ending in orm for the first one above, you could mirror that ending poetically here with:
Go raibh siad dílis, na croíthe a bhfuil grá acu orm
May they be true, the hearts that love me

Go gcoinní na déithe i mbois a lámh mé
May the gods hold me in the palm of their hands

I think while CaoimhínSF was drafting this beautiful translation he made some changes or something because I see two little errors
"aici" here should be "acu" in both instances (aici means roughly 'she has' but acu means 'they have')
"a láimhe" here should be "a lámh" (a láimhe means 'of their hand' and a lámh 'of their hands')

Other than those two things that seem to be type os or editing mistakes, it looks great!
I personally don't really like 'go lonraí an ghealach níos gile dom/orm' -- maybe
Go raibh lonrú na gealaí orm níos gile
or
Níos gile go raibh lonrú na gealaí orm
actually I don't like these either. I feel like there is a better way... but may be wrong!

Guys, thanks a LOT! It's awesome that there are people that actually use their time to help people like me.

I'm a a big fan of the whole irish and celtic culture so I would love to tattoo a piece of it. I already have some celtic tattos in my arms, so, yeah!

Lieutenant, we enjoy having new challenges, so please don't hesitate.

But definitely wait for someone with more authority (like BrídMhór for example) to either confirm or disagree before getting anything tattooed on you! Remember we are volunteer amateurs not professionals!!!
