someone said "Is fearr déanach ná ró-dhéanach" was a common seanfhocal meaning "better late than never". but I couldn't find any mention of it on the internet. Obviously I know the Irish is correct but I just want if it is a common/traditional saying or was it just someone translating from English to Irish. So have any of you heard of it before?
Is fearr (go) déanach ná ródhéanach means
Better late than too late.Don't know wether it is a "seanfhocal" in Irish but it is an often used phrase in many languages, as well as:
is fearr go deireanach ná go brách. or
Is fearr go mall ná go brách. which means:
Better late than never.
