Hello, I am getting a tattoo in Irish Gaelic translated from "Never Give Up". Looking for any assistance with the Irish Gaelic translation, would "Ná héirigh as choíche" be accurate? Thanks.

This is the usual way to say that:
Ná géill choíche
Never surrender/submit/yield

I can second this. Also "ná héirigh as choíche" is not correct. That's "never retire!"

That's the future tense, and an imperative's what's wanted here. You could say "Ní ghéillfidh mé choíche" (I will never give up), but what the OP has expressed is, essentially, a command to "never give up."

No, not at all.
Imperative mood has of course a future meaning, in English as well as in Irish.
"That's the future tense" in Redwolf’s post is meant as "That's the future tense of indicative mood".

"Never Give Up" is an imperative. So it is best to translate it as an imperative.

Thank you for the clarification, Labhrás. I hadn't thought of the imperative as inherently including the future in meaning. Which, of course, it does. :facepalm:
