It's the title of a storybook - Cnó Coilleadh Craobhaighe. Does it mean - the branch of a hazelnut tree ?

I understand it as "the nut of a branchy wood/forest", or "a branchy hazelnut".

Go raibh maith agaibh. In fact I have already downloaded it - it's available on Internet Archive and it's one of a series of five books intended for children. I'm not sure whether Father O'Leary wasn't happy about it because he thought the Irish wasn't authentic or because perhaps he didn't realise that it was in a different dialect to his. Does anyone know?

original matter is the work of native speakers of

pronunciation which are present in the speech of the

Father O'Leary has the impression that much of the text is made up or 'composed'.

Tu peux aller sur le site - https://archive.org/index.php - et puis tu fais - Sheehan, Micheal, 1870-1945 - là tu trouveras Gile na mBláth, Cnuasacht trágha et Cnó coileadh craobhaighe. Evidemment tout ça c'est dans l'ancienne orthographe, mais on peut les télécharger en pdf, les mettre sur une clé USB et puis ensuite les faire imprimer.
