Ba mhaith liom "the imfluence of their envoirnment" a rá.

Scríobh mé "tionchar dá dtimpeallacht" or should it be "timpeallachta"?

"de" (and dá) is solely partitive or appositive.
So, here it is wrong.
tionchar a dtimpeallachta
