If anyone could help me with translations for these I would be very grateful. I will be trying to translate similar ones myself in the future as my Gaeilge improves (I hope!) 'Always remember...' - Cuimhnigh i gcónaí gur duine ar leith tú, díreach ar nós gach duine eile.

'Never let a fool...' - Ná lig d' amadán póg a thabhairt duit, agus ná lig do phóg amadán a dhéanamh díot.

(Puns are seldom, if ever, possible to translate - at least not without major changes. The second part, after the comma, means 'make a fool of you' rather than 'fool you', but it's a sort of pun in its own right and is nicely symmetrical.)

'He who laughs last...' - An té is deireanaí a dhéanfas gáire is é nár thuig (an scéal grinn).

(Not sure whether 'an scéal grinn' ='the joke' is necessary.)

Errigal, you know the "...ar leith tú"? I know "tú" here is fine in the Standard, but isn't "thú" more common in speech? Or is that only in certain dialects? Maybe it's better here? GRMA.
