Hello All!
I'm looking to get some confirmation and input on a few translations that I've found, but first I'd like to explain what I'm doing for the tattoo.
I'm quite fond of Irish and Scottish folklore, history, and culture. I visited Ireland last spring and it was more than I could have ever imagined. Through all my researching of the history and cultures, I stumbled on the Ogham Alphabet and was so intrigued by the way it's written.
So ultimately - I am looking to use the Irish Gaelic words for
MAGIC - BEAUTY - FREEDOM - LEADER and translate them into Ogham drawn on an arrow. I have pictures for examples

.
Below are the words that I have found through my Research (with the translation offered) and my personal notes:
Draíocht - Magic,Enchantment. That which is unseen. I really like this word... but I of course want a true translation. I'd like to stick to the word Magic but I use this term as play on believing in what you cannot see - or faith.
Saoirse - Freedom, Liberty, Being who you are. I have seen this word used as a name pretty often in the states... Is it generally just used for a name, or is it also used in the language?
Dathúil - Good-looking, a Pleasure to the eyes. This is the term for Beauty I found... is it correct?
Taoiseach - Leader, Chief, Ruler - First among us. This may not be the word I'm really looking for... the intent is that I am a "born leader" type - a take charge - Type A personality type. I want this tattoo to remind me to always be me.
SO that's what I got - any and all help is more than welcome! I've read through some previous posts and you all have been so helpful and educational.
Below is a picture that sparked the idea. I hope it shows up
