I'm a little confused. Do you want this translated into Irish, or only written using an uncial font?

please forgive me I am new to this forum and I am trying hard to do things to

Unical doesn't exist - I imagine you must mean uncial. There's a slight problem with that. I'll explain, and it's not for the first time. American Half Uncial was created by an Austrian called Victor Hammer in 1943 when he was living in Vienna (the capital city of Austria). Apparently he'd got hold of a facsimile edition of the Book of Kells on which he based his 'Irish' font. The problem with that is that he based his font on lettering that was adapted for writing Latin, as that happens to be the language it's written in, not in Irish. After the war, which he survived and apparently during which he managed not to get enlisted, he was lucky enough to emigrate to America where his 'new-found' font was adopted especially by the Irish-American community as being 'authentic'. It isn't, though obviously there is an certain Irish influence on some of the letters. He puts fadas (accents) systematically on the letter 'i' as he must have thought that is what an Irish 'i' always looks like. It doesn't. He also didn't realise that letters such as K, V, W, Q, X, Y, Z do not exist in Irish. Ancient manuscripts written in Irish using authentic Irish lettering do exist - they don't have much in common with Hammer's American Half-Uncial. Try looking at the original manuscript of Pangur Bán and that might give you an idea of what I'm talking about.
