Here's a first stab, and I'm a bit rusty, so do wait for more input:

"Is é an bás tús na neamhbhásmhaireachta"

I'm not sure of your spelling of neamhmharbhtacht. It should be in the genitive, but I can't find the word in any dictionary anyway. Red's "neamhbhásmhaireacht" is probably better.

I second this. Someone might come up with something slightly more eloquent, but this looks OK to me. I suggest some tweaks to make it flow a bit better (for the OP, these are just very slight changes which represent how this would be said in speech).

How would one say this? Could someone break it down for a simpleton like myself? Thank you again, and have a Merry Christmas.

Is é an bás tús na neamhbhásmhaireachta. = The beginning of immortality is the death.
Is é tús na neamhbhásmhaireachta an bás. = The death is the beginning of immortality.

Isn't it simpler to use simple words?
Something like:

Is é an bás tús an tsaoil shíoraí?
(death is the beginning of eternal life)

Agus is í Gaeilg Ġaoṫ Doḃair is binne

Not alone simpler but even more meaningful (because bás = neamhbhás... doesn't make much sense )
