To me it's right.
Leabhair ar díol = books on sale
Leabhair le díol = books to sell

I thought the correct version was

Leabhair á ndíol

What about interpreting it as the 'possibility/intention/purpose' aspects of le?




I admit I'm not sure of preposition usage with the verbal noun, but could it be like fáil where both le fáil, ar fáil tend to mean the same thing?

Perhaps I was mistaken -- in my English this is what "for sale" means. In Ireland do they use "for sale" to mean "on sale"? I am not sure how that would be in Irish.
