Hi this is my first post and was recommended this site by another forum. I am looking to translate my sons birthdate by recommendations from real people, not google translate. I particularly want it perfect not only as it is a tattoo but because im off to dublin to visit family next month and could really do without being rediculed for some sort of spelling mistake!! Anyway I am looking to translate:

Or maybe without the friday as its an unlucky day to have tattooed!!

For tombstones and tattoos I've always thought it more pleasing, aesthetically - not to mention shorter, cheaper and less painful - to write the date thus: '13 Nollaig 2013' (as given previously).

Yes I agree it does look neater, spose as I am having this tattoo I wanted more than one word in irish. Bearing this in mind is it correct if I was to use
Dé hAoine 13 Nollaig 2013?
