In the first verse the woman sings in Alan Stivell's version of Brian Boru, nowhere can I find what she says. All lyric sites including this video have the wrong lyrics, can anyone write them down?

Its difficult to determine what she says because the pronunciation is totally inaccurate. The Irish is also riddled with mistakes.

Dúirt siad 'they said' ... is the only bit I can make out.

The woman who sings with him there is Máire Bhreatnach. But what she sings doesn't really correspond to what is written, and I don't understand well because it's Munster Irish, I'm not used to it when sung...

What Alan Stivell sings corresponds to what is written, but his pronunciation (in both Breton and Irish) hurts my ears.
