Hi there. I've been trying to figure out a good tattoo to celebrate my Irish heritage. I had an incident this year that put my life in danger and I'm more grateful than ever. It reminds me to not take life for granted. I was hoping someone could please share how to say either "live" or a phrase similar to "don't take life for granted" in Gaelic. If anyone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much!

I found "toimhdigh" in the dictionary. It's not a word I am familiar with myself so I'm not sure how to use it. It means "think/suppose/presume/assume".

Just a suggestion, I'm sure there are better ways to say it:
Ná toimhdigh an saol.

Is this a runner? 'Ná déan talamh slán den saol'? Is that the correct way to use that phrase?

Tlynch, for "Live" I'd suggest Is aoibhinn bheith beo - "It's good to be alive". And in ŷthe latest dictionary Is aoibhinn bheith beo is given as an idiomatic translation for "Life is worth living".
