Speaking of this, does anyone know which RnaG broadcasters are from Connemara? It seems there's podcasts available and I'd love to download some and just listen on repeat. Also, has anyone used the updated version of Learning Irish? Is it as good, and as dialectal, as the original?
I have the new version, it is still dialectal, no change to the book.

If anyone else has some suggestions on books by authors from Connemara, I would be really interested in hearing about them!
Well there is Mairtín Ó Cadhain, probably the best writer in Modern Irish, his best novel is Cré na Cille, although that's bollocks hard, at least I thought so and not fully in Connacht Irish, but the rest of his novels are very good.
Pádraig Ó Conaire's Scothscéalta would be a good place to start or his Brian Óg.
