A brand new to this forum but I'm looking for a translation of the phrase ".... dreams of glory" could be glory in battle, glory in success

There are several words which can be used for dreams:

Bruadaran a' chliù
Dreams of Glory
(as in actual dreaming)

Aislingean a' chliù
Dreams/Visions of Glory
(which could refer to that which one is imagining or hoping for, and is probably closer to what you want)

Another word for "glory" is the loanword glòir, but it tends to have religious connotations.

For the other approach, there are several choices for "battle":

cliù air blàr
glory in battle

cliù sa bhlàr
glory on the battlefield

cliù a' chatha
battle glory
glory in battle

Another word is cogadh, but that is more like "war" or "warfare".
