Ní lú ná san a bhíodh.... neither were there.
Ná before lánchúil: nor.
Cúl báire: goalkeeper. Báire: meaning 3 in FGB is "goal".

No, I don't know. But someone here will, as I think there is an English translation of A Thigh, Ná Tit Orm available.

I think báide = scoreboard or goal (báire)??? See https://tuairisc.ie/baire-no-baide-cuil ... no-halley/ I think it is a little unclear as to the meaning. But if someone understands, please explain it.
