In this video about psalm 23 (or 22 in catholic/orthodox bibles) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJeLmk9pJg4

Treoraíonn sounds like \Tor-Ren\

The first r is completely silent. Is this an anomaly for this particular word or is there some general rule I am not aware of?

and my instinct is to pronounce "raíonn" more like \reen\, both because aio usually sound like this, and accented vowels, here í (which makes the \ee\ sound\) tend to dominate. Yet this is not correct, the speaker pronounces it \ren\. Again, is this an anomaly for this word, or is there some general rule that I am not aware of?

Thank you.
