This is a part of Isaiah 41:17. I'm just wondering if the following are correct. Thanks!

Ach mise, an Tiarna, tabharfaidh mé éisteacht dóibh,
"But I the lord, Will give listen to them" (Lit: Will give my listening to them)

Ach mise, an Tiarna, Cloisfidh mé iad
"But I, the Lord, will hear them"

Mise, an Tiarna, Cloisfidh mé iad
"I, the Lord, will hear them"

Translation can be something of an art form. Two people might translate the same thing two different ways and both would be correct. For my part, I wouldn't be inclined to use both the emphatic pronoun mise and also the independent pronoun mé where only a single pronoun was used in the English. I'd suggest bringing the verb forward instead:

Ach cloisfidh mise, an Tiarna, iad.

Cloisfidh mise, an Tiarna, iad.

Note also, there's no need to capitalise the first letter of the verb, unless you're using this as a title or something. In which case, you'd probably capitalise the first letters of all of the pronouns also.

cloisfidh mé iad = I will hear them.
Of course, that is correct.

In Bedell’s Bible, it is cluinfidh mé iad (cluin = clois)

In Munster, cloisfead iad (cloisfead = cloisfidh mé), might be considered as an alternative.

In Latin, it is exaudiam which ist probably stronger than audiam, so ABN’s tabharfaidh mé éisteacht dóibh reflects that.
