I would go for, 'Dia duit. Seán anseo. Fág teachtaireacht le do thoil'.

hmm, thanks Saoirse, any other opinions on that?

How is teachtaireacht pronounced?

Is teach like teach for house, with a t sound at the end?
and then air like the english air?
and then eacht like teacht without the t?

Confused? :D

Teachtaireacht is here - http://www.forvo.com/word/teachtaireacht/#ga

But I think "fág scéala le do thoil" would do to.

It is recommended that you always wait for three to agree on a translation.
I speak Connemara Irish, and my input will often reflect that.
I will do an mp3 file on request for short translations.

Maybe you should just stick with that so. I have only ever heard 'teachtaireacht' on messages, but my knowledge is a bit limited and 'scéala' is easier to say!

You'll want a fada in there, Seán...otherwise you'll be saying 'I'm old'! ;)
