I'm gradually working through Cnósach Focal ó Bhaile Bhúirne and entering not only the headwords, but all the words used in the definitions in that book in my dictionary. I'm most of the way through now.

I was delighted to find this on p151 today: tá sé ag siúl go maille-bhreathach = tá sé ag siúl go mall & pairithis air.

It seems pairithis is the Muskerry form of pairilis. I thought i'd share this.

It's the same in Kerry.

For those who don't know:
Pairithis an bháis = Rigor Mortis
