I'd like to double-check if my understanding of these two lines is correct, please. They are from a poem.

"Sheasamar gan ghíog, slua go ciúin ar schochraid"
"We stood without a sound, like a crowd at the grave"

"ach ní raibh ceo sa cheo ach ceo"
"But there was nothing in the mist but mist"

I would also be very grateful if you could let me know if my use of lenition symbols here is correct?

It's right, but sochraid doesn't mean "grave", but rather "funeral procession".
To get the seana-chló, highlight the text and then select from the menu above Font, and choose Bunchló Ársa. Also it is inauthentic to use the Gaelic font with non-traditional spellings, and sa was traditionally spelt with an apostrophe, 'sa, as it is short for in san.

aċt ní raiḃ ceo 'sa ċeo aċt ceo

Also, the form sheasamar is not used in any Gaeltacht community, although it may have been used in 18th century? The form is sheasamair with a slender r in Munster , or sheas muid in Connacht and Ulster.

Sorry, I'd have a question about another line I got to in the poem:

"Tá maidin luibheach ár ré linn"

Tá maidin luiḃeaċ ár ré linn

I spoke with someone and they translated it as: "It is our herbal morning". Could it be: "[A] herbal morning is upon us"? Or perhaps this indicates a future tense, which would be incorrect in this sentence?

I really apologise, I know some Irish from early childhood, but started to properly look into it (Wombat ♡) only a few months back.
