'Bhí fearg ar an múinteoir'

It was my natural reaction to say 'ar an mhúinteoir', but this was written a book so I wanted to check.

That is definitely right in Munster. But I think in Ulster they prefer to lenite where other dialects eclipse, so it wouldn't be wrong either with lenition.
