Back with another question!
Is there any phrase in Irish to mean "a dream come true" as in something that would make you very happy should it happen? E.g. "Visiting Paris would be a dream come true"

I don't like the tense in ... fhíoraítear. I think in English "is fulfilled" can either correspond to fíoraít(e)ar or fíoradh. [In Cork Irish, brionglóid, "disturbing thoughts", would be a bad translation of "dream"; aisling means "vision"; and the autonomous form is, on historical grounds, not lenited - of course, there are regional variants on this point.]

Do you could have: mar thaibhreamh a fíortar/fíorthar (a dream that is regularly, habitually fulfilled), or better mar thaibhreamh do fíoradh.

But fíoradh/fíorú is one of those verbs that avoids an Irish periphrasis, which would be more idiomiatic:

mar thaibhreamh tar éis teacht fíor
mar thaibhreamh tar éis teacht dáiríríbh

These are just literal translations - the focloir.ie version is probably more natural.

Seans a bheith agam turas (t'rus) a thabhairt go Paris, taibhreamh na súl oscailthe dhom dob é é! Is é (dob é) go díreach taibhreamh na súl oscailthe dhom é! Ní bheadh ann ach taibhreamh na súl oscailthe!
