I have just received a copy of 'The Tailor and Ansty' as noted down by Eric Cross and published by Mercier Press. Of course sadly an Táilliúir Tadhg Ó Buachalla was obliged to go down on his knees and burn his book. The question I have is that as I now have it in the English and French editions, has the original version in Irish been lost for good ? Is there not one single copy of it anywhere?
