I have a few translations I would like to run by you.
Earlier this year you were very kind in translating a bit of the St Patrick's Breastplate for me and was delighted with the response.
The lines I would like checked over are as follows :

LISTEN TO THUNDER BUT DON'T STAND IN THE RAIN
Éist leis an toirneach ach seachain an fhearthainn

KEEP THE GREEN ABOVE THE RED
Coinnigh an glas is cionn an death

I BELIEVE IN THE CROSS
An chrois mo chreideamh

The last one I would also like as I TRUST IN THE CROSS .

coinnigh an glas thar an dearg
tá muinín agat sa chrois

There are other ways of saying them, however this is how I would phrase thm.

LISTEN TO THUNDER BUT DON'T STAND IN THE RAIN
Éist leis an toirneach ach seachain an fhearthainn
seachain - means "avoid".
Macboo's "éist leis an toirneach ach ná seas san fhearthainn" is more literal.
In Conamara we say "báisteach". Ná seas sa mbáisteach.

KEEP THE GREEN ABOVE THE RED
Coinnigh an glas is cionn an death
That looks like a autocorrect LOL, it's dearg not death. The rest looks correct.

I BELIEVE IN THE CROSS
An chrois mo chreideamh
literally that means: The cross, my religion.
Macboo said:tá muinín agam sa chrois
As you're talking about religion you can also use "creidim" instead of "muinín".

'Seachain' means stay out of/avoid.
I think it might be more natural to say something like "ná bí i do sheasamh amach sa bhaisteach/san fhearthainn"
I have school-learned Irish so let's see what Bríd says.

"ná bí i do sheasamh amuigh sa mbáisteach"
"ná bí i do sheasamh amuigh san fhearthainn"

If nobody sees any mistakes I think he's good to go.

Coinnigh an glas os cionn na deirge/ an deirg

The genitive follows os cionn.

Actually, the standard preposition is 'as' rather than 'sa': 'TÁ MUINÍN AGAM AS AN CHROIS' (or 'GCROIS'). You could also say 'SA CHROIS ATÁ MO MHUINÍN' (in this case with 'sa').

The " KEEP THE GREEN ABOVE THE RED" were my closing words to a eulogy I did at my Fathers funeral so will forever be etched in my mind.
