Hi, just was wondering if anyone could help me in translating the words 'I am in tune' into preferably Ulster dialect however I'm not particularly fussed. I'm not certain that my own translation of it (ta me i dtiuin) is correct. any help would be much appreciated as I am getting a tattoo soon. thank you.

The accents are missing. Don't leave them out, they are important.
Tá mé i dtiúin. (I am in tune)

... at least if you are an instrument or a machine. My English is too bad. I have actually no clue what "someone is in tune" could mean.

Me either. I do know that's the exact phrase used in the song "Amhrán na Farraige," though, so I'm guessing that's where this is coming from.

One can theoretically say that people are "in tune with one another", although I think "in harmony with one another" is much more common. Now that you mention it, I'm not sure that I've ever heard "I'm in tune" as a stand-alone expression.
