Hello all,
I have an audio clip with 2 or 3 words in Irish. At least I think they're in Irish, I'm wondering if anyone would be able to translate it?
Here is the clip (careful website auto plays it)
https://clyp.it/gzunxlqp - It starts "The word of the day is" then says what I think is Irish Gaelic.
The closest I think I've found is that the first word might be an Ulster pronunciation of "cuimhne". But I don't speak Irish so I'm not sure if this is right.
I've been told the second part could be "fhíorúil", so the whole thing could be "virtual memory" (as in a computer/technical term). However when I listen to the entry here, it doesn't sound the same:
http://www.teanglann.ie/ga/fuaim/cuimhne_fhíorúil
I'm wondering if the speaker has just really not pronounced "cuimhne fhíorúil" correctly, or if the second word is something entirely different? Or if both words are totally wrong?
It's highly possible the word is technical, or at least has something to do with computers/internet or robots.
Any help would be appreciated!
