Native speakers and scholars all, how might you render this one: "The Path is the Goal."

For the record, this is not for tattoo. However, it's poetic enough that a mistranslation would seem quite easy. I understand this phrase to be a Buddhist aphorism that alludes to the path, or journey, being of paramount importance. It seems to be used as a mantra or slogan of sorts to keep in mind while meditating. Anyway... looking forward to hearing how this might be rendered. GRMA.

This is my attempt at it, but wait for confirmation and other ideas from the others - Tá an cosán cuspóireacht.

Tá sé in aghaidh na gramadaí.
(Ní féidir an briathar "tá" a úsáid le dhá ainmfhocal a cheangal le chéile.
Ní féidir a rá ach: Tá an cosán ina chuspóireacht. Ach ciallaíonn sin: The path is a finality)

Déarfainn:

Is é an cosán an cuspóir.

Tá an ceart agat ar ndóigh, rinne mé botún - d'úsáid mé ainmfhocal in áit aidiacht - .i. cuspóireach. Gabh mo leitscéal.

In case the responses weren't clear to you, an aireactaigh, the consensus was that the best way to say it is:
Is é an cosán an cuspóir.
