Hi my name is Moira
I have been wanting to get the phrase "Stronger Together" as a tattoo and I would love to get it in Irish Gaelic but I am unsure of the translation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!

Literally:
Níos láidre le chéile.
[enlarged to make the accents more visible]

However, for something more traditional-sounding, this version uses part of a traditional expression for working together:
Níos láidre ar scáth a chéile.
Literally, that could be read as "Stronger in one another's shadow", but in Irish it means working together, and not one overshadowing the other.

Another option:

Ní neart go cur le chéile

This is a traditional saying that's loosely translated as "strength in unity," but a more literal rendition would be "There is no strength without coming together."

Wait for more.

Hey Moira,

Is this tattoo supposed to be a reference to the "Stronger Together" campaign for Scotland to remain in the UK? If so it might be better to get it in Scottish Gaelic.

Or is it supposed to be a reference to the "Stronger Together" campaign for the UK to remain in EU?

Either way it is probably best to tell us so we can consider for the translation
