Dia daoibh ar maidin,

Here's another word I can't find in the dictionary - togra - as in: An Togra Béaloidis. Does anyone know what it means?

It usually means initiative (like a project). It can be used other ways too I think but that's the most common one.

Go raibh maith agaibh. It looks to me as it's being used here to mean a project rather than a proposal as given in Tearma (though I didn't think of looking there). I've managed to get hold of a copy of Scéilín ó Bhéilín - book and CD (from Kenny's) before it becomes completely impossible to obtain. On the page where it gives all the credits, it says -

Meitheal Stiúrtha an Togra Bhéaloidis i mBunscoileanna Chorca Dhuibhne :
Roibeard Ó Cathasaigh, Stiúrthóir an Togra Béaloidis srl srl

The word - Togra - is nowhere to be found in the Teanglann dictionary.

There’s togradh in FGB:

Quote:
togradh, m. (gs. -gartha). 1. vn. of togair. 2. Will, inclination. Ar ~, at will. (Var: togra m)

agus "ar togra" in EID (arbitrary; discretionary)

Quote:
arbitrary, a. Saorthoilteanach, treallach, ar togra; neamhshrianta, ansmachtúil.

Quote:
discretionary, a. (Cumhachta) a d'fhéadfadh duine a chur i bhfeidhm de réir a thola; cumhachta ar togra.
