From a friend's Facebook page:

Just in case you're thinking of making a sizable purchase of Irish books from litriocht.com:

From now until December 9, you will get free worldwide shipping from litriocht.com on an order of 100 Euro or more with the code Nollaig16. If you live near another Gaeilgeoir or are in a real Irish class, it would be worth combining your orders because shipping is expensive.

SCÉAL IONTACH ag Litríocht.com seachadadh saor in aisce ar fud an domhain ar orduithe níos mó ná €100. Beidh an tairiscint seo ar fáil go dtí an 9ú Nollaig 2016.
Cuir isteach an cód Nollaig16 sa lánseiceáil chun leas a bhaint as an tairscint seo

I must admit I just bought 100€ of Irish books. Mostly working on rounding out my collection of "Must Read Novels", but also two seanchas books from Galway that I hope haven't been Caighdeánized.

What did you get if you don't mind me asking? I want to improve my reading of Galway Irish, so if you'd like a study buddy.

As I mentioned, most of it was filling out my collection of the "Must Read" list that Notre Dame published earlier this year/last year. But the two seanchas books I picked up were:

Máire Phatch Mhóir Uí Churraoin A Scéal Féin and Seanchas Thomás Laighléis . I've also read Bróga Páipéir agus Stocaí Bainne Ramhair Leabhar, which sadly has been Caighdeánized in spelling, if not necessarily grammar (for example, sa eclipses, and you'll still see sa ló). It does have two CDs of Michael Phatch telling the stories, and is more fairy-tale-esque than some of the others I've read. I'm currently reading Seanchas Jimmí Chearra Chois Fharraige (and have been for a while), which keeps the dialectal spellings, though it's been updated from the seanlitriú. It even includes a list of common comparisons in the beginning. It's been real helpful for helping me pick up Connacht forms.

I literally bought books on litríocht the other day and did not have this code. I guess that's what happens when you don't go on ILF for a while.... tá costas ag baint leis
