Hello Everyone!

I need help with translation for two phrases.

I know this one has been done so many times but it is one I am considering:

"More than my own life"

Here is my other one:

"Listen to this wind"

I have gone to other forums but I think they were lying to me because when I did research the words didn't make sense or they just gave me the incorrect ones on purpose.

I look forward to the responses. Thank you very much!

OK...first I have a question. What other forums did you go to? Because I only know of one other Irish language forum, and I can guarantee they wouldn't lie to you (they might not appreciate being asked for this kind of translation, but they most definitely would NOT lie to you). I can think of no reason why any Irish speaker would deliberately give someone incorrect words for a translation. I can also pretty much guarantee that you're not qualified to make that judgement, since you don't speak the language.

The "words don't make sense" because Irish isn't English. It has a radically different grammar, and completely different idioms. It's also more inflected than English, which means that words can change radically in both spelling and pronunciation based on how they're used in a sentence. There's no way you can check out a translation, even using a dictionary, if you don't have a basic understanding of how the language works.

That having been said (and knowing that your request isn't that hard in Irish), I would like to know from you which forums you've visited, what they gave you, and why you think what they gave you was incorrect before I answer.
