As the title says, I'm looking for a translation for a tattoo.

I feel I alway wonder too much about everything and I have that feeling it keeps me from doing what I want and enjoying what I do, being confident. It also make me regret many things and be afraid of what I'm going to do in some situations.

That's why I'd like to express, with an irish translation or word, the idea of "nevermind", "no matter", in the idea of "don't care that much" in a tattoo. But more like "no matter" or "peu importe", if with luck someone understand french here^^.

I've choosen irish, cause first I find this language really beautiful (and its font too). Second, I've been 6 months in Ireland in order to learn english and so that remembers me this time. This travel I did young was a big struggle for me who's always wondering and who's sometimes affraid to try things I want to try. So it also remembers me to don't care and GO do what i want to, cause it can be a memorable life experience I wont regret. Finally, irish is an original language, full of history, that deserve to be known and shared

That’s a terrible alleged verbatim "translation" of "never mind":
(n)ever = riamh, aigne = mind (a noun)
It is totally wrong, gramatically and semantically. You can’t say so in Irish.



Ná bac leis! = Don’t bother about it, Don’t mind him/it
Is cuma liom. = it is all the same to me, I don’t care.

Is cuma liom is probably what your looking for.

Is cuma liom translates as 'I don't care'.

But, to someone else, it won't be clear what you mean.

Another suggestion, in case you were looking for a more clear expression would be:

Ná lig don aineoil srian a chur ort 'don't allow the unknown restrain you'
