I'm having some trouble translating a couple of sentences, and I was wondering if ye could give me any better suggestions than what I have.

They can't get away with this, with what they've done. How can you even be thinking about letting Emma -

Ní ghlaicfaidh mé leis go rithfidís / rithfí leo, leis an méid atá déanta acu. Cén chaoi gur féidir libh bheith ag smaoineamh ar ligeant do Emma –’

It's the "get away with this" part that I'm really lost with!

Any help appreciated!

I'm a bit stuck really on how to say "get away with".
It's not an exact translation but it might give others an idea.

Ní féidir leo imeacht slán gan pionós, théis an méid atá déanta acu.

Cén chaoi a féidir libh a bheith ag smaoineamh ar ligeant do Emma..

There is an "a" there even though it isn't usually pronounced in speech.

Tá an aistriúchán sin go deas, go raubh míle maith agat a Bhríd! :D

Rogha eile a thug mo stiúrthóir dom:

‘M’anam má scaoiltear leo, i ndiaidh an méid atá déanta acu.'

Is the "ar" in "ag smaoineamh ar ligeant do Emma" ok? I thought it sounded a bit clunky!

Another option:

Ní thabharfaidíst leo t'réis an méid 'thá déanta aca

Letting Emma do
