Hi there

I am from Newfoundland, but some of my ancestors are from Ireland. I absolutely love the Irish language, and I am looking to get a tattoo in Irish. I have been having some trouble finding a proper translation, so I am hoping someone may be able to help me here!
The translation I am looking for is " Be gentle. ", as a mother may warn her daughter when she is holding a new born baby. I am not sure if there is a direct translation, but if anyone could let me know what would be close, and its pronunciation, it would be hugely appreciated.
Thanks a million for any help received!!!

Just to start things off:
Bí séimhThat's pretty literal, though. It's possible that this may be better:
Bí cúramachThe usual translation of that would be "Be careful," but it's "careful" in the sense of "attentive."
Definitely wait for more input.
