Hello,

I would need a confirmation of the translation of "There is another way" or "there are other possibilites".

What I've got so far is: "tá ar bhealach eile".

Is that correct?

Thanx

Sounds odd to me.
I'd say "tá dóigh eile ann" or "tá bealach eile ann".

Tá bealach eile ann. - is what I'd say too.

what's the difference between bhealach and bealach? In the context of: "you don't have to do something in only one possible way, but you can do it in another way - meaning: there is another way"?

thanx a lot

Lenition. The initial letter of an Irish word changes to show its relationship to the words around it. So, for instance, a bhealach means "his way" while a bealach is "her way".

In the cases of ar bhealach, ar is simply one of those prepositions which almost always causes lenition on a following noun. So there's no difference in meaning, only a difference in the grammar of the sentence. never causes lenition on its own, so it's followed by bealach and not bhealach.
