I would need a confirmation of the translation of "There is another way" or "there are other possibilites".

What I've got so far is: "tá ar bhealach eile".

Is that correct?

I'd say "tá dóigh eile ann" or "tá bealach eile ann".

Lenition. The initial letter of an Irish word changes to show its relationship to the words around it. So, for instance, a bhealach means "his way" while a bealach is "her way".

In the cases of ar bhealach, ar is simply one of those prepositions which almost always causes lenition on a following noun. So there's no difference in meaning, only a difference in the grammar of the sentence. Tá never causes lenition on its own, so it's followed by bealach and not bhealach.
