Biadh is the Scottish Gaelic equivalent of the Irish bia, so it's not quite so existential as it seems, but I think they should have used the genitive for cat, making it biadh chait. Isn't that how it would be done in Irish?

In Scottish Gaelic, biadh chat = catS' food. (food for several cats)
Biadh cait = cat'S food (food for a cat)

In Irish, bia cat = cats' food (for several cats)
bia cait = cat's food (for a cat)
