I think you did a great job. It's just at the part where you added the semicolon, it's not needed, that is actually a sentence on its own. The " In my wretched existence" and " I am trapped eternally" is actually a sentence on its own as well. It's probably the way I formatted it that made it confusing. I'll make it clearer next time. :D Also, no one has translated this yet, you're the first one actually. I waiting for Ade to do it since you were gone and he said that he would get to it. All things are well now.

Like this?

An raibh sé go léir seachmaill
idir shéanadh agus réaltacht?
Tá mé caillte i fantasíochta
im shaol trua.
Tá mé gafa go deo.
Ní féidir liom éalú.

A bit of "tá mé fear"-achas there, I think, tim:

'Ní raibh ann ach seachmaill' or 'An seachmaill ar fad a bhí ann?' or something like that

'idir' only lenites in the context of 'both...and...' - at least in the C.O. Might be different in a dialect though.

"An raibh ann ach seachmaill?" perhaps?

Or, "an raibh sé go léir ina sheachmall?"

I see. OK, thank you. I wasn't trying for any certain dialectal variance.

idir séanadh agus réaltacht

Pearl, note these corrections!

That construction only worrks in the negative, I think. I suppose you could say "Nach raibh ann ach seachmaill?"

So many suggestions 8O :O
Would it be:
An seachmaill ar fad a bhí ann?
idir séanadh agus réaltacht.
or
Nach raibh ann ach seachmaill?
idir séanadh agus réaltacht.

And also, are these the only sentences that need to be corrected, or are the rest still being checked?

These. Or this?

Nach raibh ann ach seachmaill
idir séanadh agus réaltacht?

I still haven't grasped the grammar of that sentence. Isn't it better to make it one long sentence with the question mark at the end?

It seems they are OK but I would wait a bit, nag a bit longer. :darklaugh:
