These are not for my children or anyone else - these are for the forum here. Sometimes, playing a simple game - Wombat being the queen of such endeavours - can be a fun way to learn a few words or just have a bit of light-hearted banter while picking up a new phrase or word.

If you have an idea that you think a few other members might enjoy please

1. begin a thread and give it a go or

2. suggest it and one of us will kick it off for you.

Sometimes, it will die a death after a few posts and sometimes we will get a few weeks or months of fun from it. Either way, it is always worth a shot.

Try not to crash ILF with the inevitable flood of suggestions that will follow this post.

LOL!

I wish we could get more involved with Fiche Ceist. It's the ideal way for beginners to learn to distinguish between "tá" and "is," and to learn how to use descriptive adjectives.

Write a bit of a story with each post, like everybody writes a sentence or paragraph. By the end you will have a epic worthy of Tolstoy.

Or write a line of a poem every post (we did that one once).

J’ai découvert plinko un soir en cherchant un moyen de me détendre après le boulot. Le concept est simple, mais il y a quelque chose de vraiment captivant dans la façon dont la bille descend et crée ce suspense à chaque chute. Après quelques parties, j’ai eu la chance de décrocher un bon gain, et depuis je joue régulièrement. En plus, les offres spéciales pour les joueurs français rendent l’expérience encore plus intéressante.
