Hi, the third book in my series has been published:
Aodh de Róiste - a translation of Hugh Roach the Ribbonman, done in 1933, by Dónall Bán Ó Céileachair, a Muskerry native. I have used the modern spelling, keeping all the dialect. In addition. the quarterly journal An Músgraigheach published in Muskerry in the 1940s contained several hundred corrections to passages where An Gúm is thought to have altered DBÓC's manuscript, often producing grammatically incorrect Irish. I have restored DBÓC's forms. This is a 540-page book and the Glossary has 2,997 entries. I gave the publishers the official publication date of November 8th to be sure the cover was signed off by them in time. The Glossaries give the meanings of words, pronunciations where necessary (all epenthetic vowels and unusual word stresses) and discusses any variation in vocabulary with that in Standardised dictionaries.
