So, I play for a hurling club and one of our players has a peculiar habit of taking shots that endanger the genitals of defending players and greatly encourage the wearing of cups. We've nicknamed his hurley "The Emasculator" due to this. I'd like to find this as Gaeilge, but I've yet to come across a translation for this, the closest I could find was "An Choilleadh
which seems to be "the castration"

Gelder (=emasculator) is coillteoir. There is a variant, coilleadóir. These also mean "woodsman".

There is a difference in the pronunciation: coillteoir, if it means woodsman, would be /ki:lʼˈto:rʼ/ (or /ki:lʼˈho:rʼ/. ie. caoilteoir is the actual pronunciation.

If it means "gelder" the pronunciation is /kəilʼˈto:rʼ/ or /kəilʼˈho:rʼ/, ie. cailteoir is the pronunciation, where the first syllable has the vowel found in the first syllable of aighneas.

I'm not a native speaker, but this is roughly what it is: https://soundcloud.com/cork-irish/2022-10-05-19-09-33a
