I am hoping to get a tattoo in irish gaelic of the phrase "live a little". I was wondering if anyone could help translate it! I've looked a bit and only found beo beag or beag beo but they mean "small live" or "live small" which isn't what I am really looking for. Even if you guys have a similar saying PLEASE HELP!
THANK YOU!
Yes, into the rubbish bin with "beo beag/beag beo".
You could have this version (amongst others):
Bain beagán spraoi/suilt as an saol.(Literally - 'Get a little fun/enjoyment out of life'). I prefer 'spraoi' to 'suilt' in this case.
Anyway, do NOT commit skin and money without getting confirmation of this version or other possible versions. And yes, that accent in 'beagán' must not be left out.
