Hello there,

I am looking for some guidance and help translating a few words into Ulster Gaelic. The words are: hope, courage, breathe, and strength. I know they sound like the typical girl tattoo words but these all actually means something really important to me. I know very little about pronunciation except for what my grandfather taught me how to bless myself. If you could help me, I would greatly appreciate it! I thank you all for your time! :D :D :D

Hope: Dóchas

Courage: Misneach

Strength: Neart

"Breathe" is harder, because it's a phrase in Irish: Tarraing anáil (literally "draw a breath")

Wait for more.

Technically, there is also a single-word one could use for the verb "breathe", which would give you Análaigh! in the command form, but Red is correct of course that what she gave you is a far more common way to say it.

All are nouns except breathe. Or is it a typo and you mean breath?
In that case: anáil
