Hello all, and thank you for the great resource of education and entertainment this forum provides!
I am attempting to translate an important date from english to irish gaelic, so I am going for a more formal approach as opposed to the casual way we are probably more prone to speak.
Here is what I have so far, and I'd greatly appreciate if you guys could confirm, or more likely, correct me on the accuracy of what I have come up with on my own.
"Tuesday, the twenty-fifth of August, two thousand (and) fifteen"
"Dé Máirt, an cúigiú is fiche de Lúnasa, dhá mhile is a cúig déag"
