Have you any more info on Anam Beo? I found some 2008 articles saying it was launched but I can't find anything saying it exists today or how to get it. It doesn't sound like the daily news I'm looking for, but could be interesting anyway.

I think Seachtain is still being published every Wednesday in the Indo in Ireland, but I don't know if it comes with the international edition we get over here. Couldn't get my hands on the Indo yesterday, will try again next week.

Thanks for looking around for those. I also found various events and social groups but most are on unmaintained web pages or the time/location isn't possible. I'll try to go to one or two but I'm not expecting much. Being able to spend ten minutes a day at home reading about the upcoming weekend's football or rugby would be much more useful and practical. What do native speakers read when they want sports news or national news in Irish?
