Hi guys! Irish lad living abroad, and I want the dedication on my undergrad thesis to be in Irish. Using google and other translation sites, I came up with this:

DÚTHRACHT (DEDICATION)

Ba mhaith liom mo bhuíochas a léiriú, (I would like to express my gratitude,)

Do gach duine a chabhraigh liom, (To everyone who has helped me,)

Sna blianta fada seo. (Through all these years.)

Brendan, Una, Sergio, Xiomara,

Catalina, Nicolás, Thommas,

Mo dheartháireacha agus mo dheirfiúracha, (My brothers and sisters)

Agus mo chairde, a thugann neart dom. (And my friends, who give me strength)

Ní dhéanfainn é gan do chabhair. (I couldn't have done it without you)

It makes sense.

"Could" can sometimes be translated using the conditional mood of a verb.
But it is ambiguous and without context it is rather "would"
Ní dhéanfainn é = I would not do it / I wouldn't have done it

Because the focus is on your ability, a more specific form is better.
And I think murach instead of gan is better here.

Ní fhéadfainn é a dhéanamh murach do chabhair.

Oh, yes, plural is necessary:

It should be:
Ní fhéadfainn é a dhéanamh murach bhur gcabhair.

bhur = your (plural)
do = thy (singular)

DÚTHRACHT is dedication in the sense of devotion, commitment to a person or a cause. A dedication in, for example, a book is TIOMNÚ.
