I am looking for help to verify the grammar and spelling in the phrase below. It is for a headstone.

Inár gcroithe go domhain
Grá agus cuimhne go críoch an t'saoil

Deep in our hearts
Loved and remembered until the end of days

I made two small corrections highlighted in red.
The first part of the phrase looks OK.
I’m not sure about the second part. It translates literally as “Love and memory until the end of life”.
Maybe that’s OK. The full sentence would be:

“Beidh grá agus cuimhne air (him) / uirthu (her) / orthu (them) go dtí deireadh na laethanta. (This last part is a literal translation of “until the end of days”.)

I was told the last part of the second line of the phrase "go críoch an t-saoil" was an old irish saying (for ever of forever or for evermore - even though the direct translation is different) so thats why I added it to the end of the Grá agus cuimhne.

I think it works well?

It is probably right. It sounds good but I don't know for sure. I've looked around and can't find the phrase. By the way, I made one mistake: it should be "tsaoil" without the hyphen.

Maybe wait to get more input from one of the other more knowledgeable people here.

I should add that, in Irish, typically when you're speaking of something everyone has one of, you use the singular. So"
